Can Dolphin connect to Wii?

I am istalling Project M onto my Dolphin emulator and my friend over in america has it installed on his Wii. Could we connect via the internet servers and play eachother in Project M Thanks for any help

Actually I'm fairly certain you can use dolphin to connect to the servers but you need a NAND dump from your Wii due to the default dolphin one being banned from the servers. You'll have better luck searching this on the Dolphin forums than on here.
