Unfortunately, I can't provide videos. Anyway, can someone clue me in on how to camp on a small stage like Yoshi's. Every time I'll get on 1 laser, maybe two, then get slapped by a fsmash, or comboed.

thats because your trying to do hard core camping on a stage like yoshis... lol... the only time i would slighty camp on a stage like yoshis would be against like... ganon or someone that is ****.
never against someone like marth.

but you have to remember to use your platforms to get around. dont roll. and mix up your lazers (short hop lazers, full hop triples, receding stage double lazer, platform drop lazers)

... all that bull****...

..but yeah.. when your on a stage like yoshi's or fountain go **** all and pressure. save the campy lazers for stages like DL, FD, Pokahstadium, Rainbow.. but with that being said it still can be done.

Its punishable and laggy, especially on a small stage like yoshis, if you roll too much you'll get predictable and one bad roll will become a stock lost

If you want to hardcore camp than go to dreamland or FD, yoshis is really bad for camping because its so small, its cool cause you can gimp floatys with shines off the top and combo people on platforms really well

If you're having trouble lasering, then mix lasers up with blanks (get the laser sound off but no laser comes out) so you can punish their forward smash or whatever theyre attacking you with, and dont laser when theyre too close to you

I must sound like a noob, but i have to ask:
I usually try to get my opponent to throw out a laggy attack, (run straight at them then wd backwards right before i come into range.) roll behind them grab, then do whatever. What should I do instead to roll less often?

You can roll, but just try not to be predictable with that roll. Sometimes wd away then wd towards, shine, aerial combo, be creative.

The lag from them whiffing an attack isn't as long as your lag from a wd back -> roll, if you really want to roll in that situation i would run up shield -> roll behind during the attack, but it would be best to just dash in -> jc grab after wding out of range of their whiffed attack. Mix it up with run up cc-> shine, and nair/dair punish after you wd out of their attack range. Also, shl -> jc grab after the attack would work.

rolling sucks lol but so does just being in sheild in general you should just try something else instead of rolling or sheilding in the first place. but camping isint always just using a projectile or something. jiggly puff has the best camp in the game and she doesnt have a projectile. instead of camping do what puff does and lure them into situations where there more vunerable. like in lagg or something

puff camping? Camping is simply staying away from all/any risks. fox running away lasers taes less risks than puff bair camping same for planking in some cases think of fox camping DL64/KJ64 he NEVER has to even hit them with a move other than a laser which is much more safe than fair on the edge as puff.

also if your campy ban YS FoDs is a little easier to camp better platforms and barly longer.
