I post this for members in the college age group.
Recently I was contacted by Cambridge Who's Who about nomination to be listed in their national registry for my achievement in my field of study. I am a Culinary Arts Major with an Associates and I am working on a bachelor's degree.
Anyway....
I was contacted by them over the phone and after about a 10 question survey, I was "selected" by my responses to be considered a member. I'm thinking how awesome this sounds and what an honor it was. Then the price tag came...
Gold Membership 5yrs ($500.00)
Platinum Membership Lifetime ($750) + a companion plane ticket
I told her I could not afford such things which then she told me of a 3yr ($300) after I declined that one she told me a student ($99) plan would be available. I told her I'd call back.
I googled it and sure enough it was a scam that people have been complaining about for a while.
DO NOT PAY ANYTHING FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!
