I live in the UK, and I am importing Super Smash Bros. Brawl! This is an open invitation for anybody who wants to come and play!

I live in Leeds, West Yorkshire, to be precise. I am going to try and book a venue for a few hours of Brawl sometime in early February, probably Saturday 2nd. I must stress that this won't be a tournament, just a get-together.

As of yet there are NO plans outside of my own head, and I do not intend to organise anything unless I recieve enough interest.

-SECOND POST

I have an imported Japanese Wii to play it on. I have no intention of sorting out any overnight arrangments for anybody, so it'll be upto you to sort that out. There are a few hotels around central Leeds.

This is less of a concrete thing, more of a heads-up that something may happen, and a call for interest.

As I said before, this WILL NOT be a tournament, just to clarify. I don't see any point in making a tournement, considering most of you won't have actually played the game. Also, in a tournement, the people who do better will get to play more.

I'd prefer to just have a few friendly 4-player matches, giving everybody a chance to have a go with each of the characters, and check out each of the stages.

Also, I'll allocate some time for people to go 'lives & levels' style co-op Subspace, as well as events and stadium matches.

Also, I'm sure a few of you will be wanting to have a play with the Stage Builder, so I'll set some time aside for that, as well.

Also, I am intending to try and have all characters and stages unlocked for the event, but if I get enough requests to play a "spoiler-free" game, then I'll try and sort that out.

Hehe... believe me I'd love to, but I live nowhere near there ^^;

The chances of me meeting someone down here in Cornwall with a US Wii and Smash Bros isn't likely. As long as I know the character roster, I'll hopefully survive the planned 6 months NoE are making us wait.

Wales is a little too far away from Leeds for me to travel. Plus, it's pretty close to my birthday, so i doubt my family will appreciate me dissappearing.

If my plans change, however, i'll let you know.

I'm a competitive smasher from Scotland, I've traveled a lot farther than leads for smash so no problem... I'm REALLY considering importing brawl myself, but I'm not sure... it seems so expensive.... Do you have a modded Wii?

Also: I'm sure myself and a TON load of other competitive players will want to. Especially those who aren't going to Epita (French tournament in Feb.)

How do you plan on doing this? I prefer knowing PROPER Information about where I'm going, how long I'm going to be there for, wither I will need a return or I'm able to stay some where, etc etc.

More information please.

Also: If you modded your Wii, where did you get it done/how did you do it? I want to mod mine...

Heh, I was only in Leeds yesterday - I live in York. Dunno if it'd be worth it, though, with only one Wii and one copy of the game. Its a good idea; but maybe unrealistic.
