Is there any plugin or something for PJ64 that would allow you to set a controller up so that it had a SSBM style C-stick to do aerials? I have trouble short hopping and fastfalling aerials in SSB and I use the C-stick in melee.

I really don't think so, but I could be wrong. And the c buttons are used for jumping in SSB, so I wouldn't know how it would work..

Just keep practicing, is all I can say. I think SSB is somewhat more lenient on the learning curve vs SSBM.

to me i think that they need to come up with a controler layout that you can mix and match
ex: a and jump with one button will make u jump and hit a at the same time
and
a and -> will let u do a and right at the same time

Download Control MK. It allows to functions to be pressed at once.
(example. set A button to shift in the Controller plugin.
Then in Control Mk set the right joystick to up, left, right, down+shift)
