C-Stick Nair in Smash Ultimate?

So I know that inputting a diagonal direction on the C-Stick in SSBU doesn't allow you to nair or jab anymore, but with the Pro controllers and Joy Cons can you push the c stick in to nair? Has anyone tried? Thanks.
