C-stick: Is there a possibility for another control remap option?

I would understand if the PMBR sets other priorities or it would make it the player too easy but I would love a control remap option for the c-stick with that you can combine the advantages of setting it to Smash (default) or Attack (also known as A-sticking).
That would mean:
Grounded:
Light input:
Up: Up-tilt
Down: Down-tilt
Side: Forward-tilt
Diagonal: Jab
Strong input:
Up: Up-smash
Down: Down-smash
Side: Forward-smash

Dashing:
Up: Up-smash
Other: Dash attack

Airborne:
Up: Up-air
Down: Down-air
Forward: Forward-air
Back: Back-air
Diagonal: Neutral-air

Grab:
Up: Up-throw
Forward: Forward-throw
Down: Down-throw
Back: Back-throw
Diagonal: Pummel

Personally I would love to see it because I could make my controls easier. Also it is a compromise between attack and smash.
What do you think?

I'm interested to know what you mean by "make my controls easier." Are you having trouble performing tilts the normal way? Because every other action you posted can be performed by setting the C-stick to smash (the default), except the diagonal inputs.

Edit: OK I just read your other post

Wow relearning a new controller configuration messes you up so hard. But I'm sure it will be worth.
Left Hand: Thumb: :GCN: Index: :GCLT: (shield)
Right Hand: Thumb: :GCCN: Index: :GCB: (special) Middle: :GCY: (jump) Ring: :GCZ: (grab) Pinkie: :GCRT: (attack)
:GCA: and :GCX: (footstool) with the mid of the fingers if needed
I will always have my thumb on C-stick, prepare for incredible Smash DI :)
But getting used to it is so freaking hard
That's a very interesting setup. Having R set to attack should help you perform your jabs, pummels, and n-airs of course. But now I see what you mean about the c-stick.

Pls take pic of your hand holding the controller :D

I'm holding the controller almost the same, but I don't have R set to attack, but instead use either the index or the middle finger to press A. I'd suggest trying that, because I can't imagine it being easy to perform precise attacks with your pinkie on a shoulder button. On the other hand, you've got two fingers next to the A button anyway, so using it shouldn't be any harder than with a normal controller style.

If it existed, I'd certainly try setting the C-stick to the hybrid option you're suggesting just for the ability to nair with the C-Stick. Even if it was implemented though (which I imagine would be a lot of work if even possible), it would have to be designed in a way that it's possible to do both smash- and tilt-inputs with the same responsiveness as the current C-Stick allows and cleanly differ between them, so I don't end up getting tilt inputs when I'm trying to SDI or perform a smash (this also means that diagonal inputs can't always equal tilts). It's a nice idea, but I don't think it's feasible and you definitely shouldn't even dream for its inclusion when learning new controls.

So the idea is to not have to move your hands between the buttons so you can do any technical stuff you want (you probably also can otherwise, but having to move your thumb between :GCA:, :GCB:, :GCY: and :GCCN: will increase the flaw rate. :GCRT: to attack seems to solve that problem, but first it is a shoulder button and second if you press your pinkie down so much it seems to decrease the mobility of the other fingers because your hand is tense now (try shorthopping with a 3framer when your hand is tense, it is much more difficult). I just started learning the configuration and this was the only thing really bugging me. If that C-stick option existed, I would only use :GCRT: barely (or :GCA: ). Light press shoulder buttons as control option would also solve my problem because then I wouldn't have to press :GCRT: down as much which would avoid that decreased mobility issue. Btw with characters that can't zair I can do :GCZ: to nair.

I think maybe there is something to be said about Melee here. Melee players had to work with the (unchangeable) default controls. And obviously they achieved great things, perhaps the greatest things ever in this franchise.

I appreciate what you're going for here, I find it admirable. I'm very interested in custom controls trying to optimize the system.

Legit I wish you the best of luck but I still find some charm in the ability to... manipulate the default controls to your whim. You know.

I am really drunk. Like, top 5 most drunk I've ever been. I hope some of this makes sense.

I get it. Have each finger over a button. Sorta like a traditional fighting game, like with an arcade-style setup. Seriously I wish you the best of luck with it.

Smash Bros is so crazy though. It's a whole different beast.

Drunk

I will test some controls either way, probably swapping index between A and B is best because you normally don't need those buttons directly together, except for spirit bomb, and then I could go R and B.
PS: Why are you always drunk??

I'm always drunk because I'm an alcoholic. But that's besides the point.
