*We have changed rooms! We will now be in SSB 170 (This is an identical room to the old room, and it is on the opposite side of the building). Use the same parking lot. I will put up a new color coded map so you can find it.*
Welcome!
We open at 10, do sign-ups up til 12. We are going to prioritize speeding this event up because we don't want to keep having the events run so late and we want to have plenty of time for friendlies and MM at the end. Doubles for PM will start alongside with Melee singles. Brackets will be started at 12 sharp so please arrive by 11:30 at the latest so you can register. Stream set ups will be reserved for those with the most achievement points when their matches are called. So if we call your match for a non stream set up don't complain, git gud so you can have a higher achievement score.
Fees:
Venue fee $5
Singles entry (per game): $5
Doubles entry (per game): $5 per person
Games:
Project M 3.6
Melee
IMPORTANT: Winner's Finals, Loser's Finals, and Grand Finals will be the only Bo5 sets in Melee and PM.
We will be using the Paragon rule set. If you have a reason why we should deviate, I will be happy to listen. I will not change the stage list unless there is a good enough reason to (saying "I hate x stage" is not a valid reason)
PM
General Rules
Items off and set to none, 8 Minutes, 4 Stocks, Buffer off.
No excessive stalling (Rising Pound, Luigi ladder, etc.)
Double Blind is offered at request
You cannot counter pick to any stage you have already won on
Gentleman's Clause: Any stage may be played on if both players agree to it.
If a match times out, the winner is determined by remaining stocks, then lowest percentage on the same stock.
Pausing Results in a stock loss, at the discretion of the opponent.
If each player has one stock remaining and the match ends due to a suicide move (Ganon's side-B, DDD's swallow, holding someone in a grab on a platform as it moves out of the boundaries, etc.), the player who initiated the move wins.
No Giga Bowser or Wario Man (This should go without saying. SoPo is fine).
