For those of you who've played Rayman Raving Rabbids, you are very fammiliar with these hillariously violent bunnies. With Ubisoft's extreme support for Nintendo these cute little devils have a slight chance of making it into our game.

Although Rayman is on the cover of the game, it is clear that the real stars of the show are the rabbids. Its hard not to love these guys as you're kicking them across a soccer field or slapping them so they sing in tune. They even appear to be the new mascot for ubisoft.

There's plenty of inspiration from the game to make an origional moveset. I'll leave that to whomever feels like it. I'll do one later. I can tell you what it's taunt would be......"BAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

It's not the most likely third party character to make it in but I believe it would be a very welcome addition. Not only could it be a good character, but it would be great comic relief. Imagine getting 4-stocked by a rabbid. I would probubly drop Fox and Falco for a while and pick up this guy.

Funny idea, but it ain't gonna happen. Perhaps Rayman will make it in, and then the Rabbids can be part of his attacks. But as a character? I don't see it.

Lol, the raving bunnyhood team! DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

Been playing this game all week, it's awesome!

But no, I don't see them as playable characters, rather a minigame like the polygon team.

They should have done that for real and made it for a commercial! That would be hilarious. One of the bunnies jumps from No where and attacks mario but gets Blown away in the process.

But if rayman does get in this is how they can work! They could make a stage at the bunny collsum that they imprisin rayman and they can be cheering in the auidence and interfer with pulngers time to time.

Why not let Rayman pull them out of the ground and use it as some sort of projectile =P
Like the Yoshi Egg's that Yoshi throws and then on inpact, they bite you untill you do a B move =P

They're pretty sweet, but they're also too new, featured on other consoles than Nintendo in largely the same game, and aren't even exactly mascots of Ubisoft. more like advertisement ploys...

If Ray-Man got in as a character, Rabbids could function as his turnips. That would pwn.

I cant believe this thread has been brought back to life.

There's something about these guys that I adore. I do doubt that they would be a playable character, but they should have some role in brawl. They are an excellent source for comic relief. I do like the ideas being brought to the table here. Keep them comming.

I know this is off topic but...do you guys notice the increasing trend in people who have joined this forum recently and manage to stack up hundreds of posts within a month? I mean, I can name three examples off the top of my head, one of these people posting in this very thread.

Red Exodus, BrawlMatt and Dylan_Tgna.

Real weird, innit?

Anyway on topic:

That sounds like an awesome idea, I haven't played Raving Rabbids, but **** I would love to have them as a playable character.

No........

Someone should close this out of sheer principal.
Why? "Sheer principal"? That's total bull! We have the right to suggest character that we think would be good for Brawl, no matter how pointless and stupdi we think they are.

...I mean, they've got one for ReDead from The Legend of Zelda series! REDEAD!!!

A quote from the first post in a thread I made a long time ago:

Rabbids - DAAASHing into Brawl!

Rabbids!!!

What in the World Is a Rabbid?

They are a species of maniac anthropomorphic rabbits who serve as the primary antagonists in the video game Rayman Raving Rabbids

What do they Do? Or do they do anything for that matter?

They round around wielding various household objects using them as melee weapons, dressing up as various other fictional characters (Mario, Jack Sparrow, Sam Fisher, Transformers, and a bunch of other stuff), and most of all, constant screaming.

Wait, So they are from a Rayman game... Why not Have Rayman in brawl instead?

Yes, they are from a Rayman game, but Internet popularity has made them a HUGE success, so big, they are already overshadowing Rayman or every other Ubisoft character!

I'm not alone in thinking this, even game critics agree:

It might have Rayman in the title, but the real stars of the show are the adorably bizarre raving rabbids. - Alex Navarro, GameSpot

They are generic characters, they have no persona!

Wrong! they are extremely hysterical and have this charisma around them.

IGN has stated that the Rabbids have "more personality and charisma than 10 of the most popular video game mascots combined"

They don't look like fighting Material!

They are made to fight, and have an extremely uncontrolled anger/mania
They grab anything they can find as weapons...

Trust me, they can Fight

Rayman creator Michel Ancel described the bunnies as "vicious, but at the same time [...] totally stupid".

What would they bring to Smash?

Comic Relief.
An extremely WTF third party character.
A character that will make users fall in love with him simply by the way he does stuff.
Great Hours of gameplay and many many laughs
