Bulls and the playoffs

The NBA playoffs are approaching and I'm likin how the Bulls pretty much have the number 2 spot with games vs. charlotte and against the Wizards and the Nets. They are arguably the best team in the East and if not, the second best. Chicago has proven it can beat many of the Eastern powers such as Detroit, Cleveland, and the Nets.

I'm a Chicago fan, but I'm havin the Mavs over the Bulls FTW. But I'll be rootin for my Bulls no matter how they do, I've been with them for 15 years now ever since i was 4.

Moved to chicago in 2000, and had to witness 4 years of garbage. So glad to finally see us back to our winning ways. We've proven that when we play at our best, we're pretty much unstoppable. Bad thing being we're so inconsistent come the end of the game. I've seen way too many games this season where we let a 10+ pt lead disappear. If our jumpshots are falling, we're amazing, but when they don't, we're horrible. We still need that inside presence in order to take us to the next level. Having said that, we will definitely make it past the first round this year. Anything after that is uncertain.

Probably out eating some dirt or something.
Well of course I don't like the Bulls because of the whole Jazz vs. Bulls cahmpionship series back in the 90's.

Anyways my team the Jazz I'm just hoping will get home court so that they can be at home for the Rockets games and I can see some of them, by the way we beat Dallas tonight!

The Bulls have a pretty good shot at the East title but, honestly the East isn't that good so I say Pheonix or Dallas wins it.

well i think that the bulls can beat any team in the east in the playoffs in a series cept for detroit. That's an iffy though. The heart and soul of the Pistons last year was Ben Wallace and now he switched sides. Although they have still wrapped up #1 in the conference, they have looked **** shaky down the stretch. Billups said after the Bulls massacre of the Pistons, "We just didn't have the fire to play," now that is a bad sign. if you can't get pumped up for a game you're gettin paid for to provide sell-out crowd of fans with entertainment against your biggest rival even in a close-to-meaningless game, you've got a problem.

Of course no team in the East really matches up in terms of team success to the Western Big Three: Pheonix, Dallas, and San Antonio. But getting to the NBA Finals is an accomplishment in itself. As I said, I predicted the Bulls to lose to Dallas in the playoffs, but I would love for them to win.

I'm a miami fan so I might as well just spit that out, but the bulls cannot beat the pistons or the heat, they would get slaughtered by the jazz, maveriks, suns, or spurs. the only eastern con. teams with a chance to beat those guys are the pistons and the heat. the pistons like the heat run a well balanced attack but unlike the heat they do not have a true finisher. The heat on the other hand can beat any team in this league while healthy, which is what they basically are now. they also have the best finisher in the league with Dwyane wade. In the west the Jazz are the dark horse they are a terrific team that can beat anybody in a seven game series. their team is by far the most balanced team in the west. and unlike the maverriks they have no problems finishing games.

Yeah well you can still be a fan but not pick ur team. Neways, if you are a true fan you'll know that Shaq and D. Wade can both take a game over, but Shaq has only played like three games since Jan 24 and D. Wade is comin off a very serious injury and is not and will not be at 100% until he has surgery in the offseason. Payton is out for 2-3 weeks and Haslem has some injury concerns as well. Not to mention Posey's recent DUI arrest.

I would have counted the Heat in as contenders for the East crown, but these unfortunate injuries (especially Payton's) and distractions just don't make this team as formidable as it should be.

The Pistons are seriously the team to beat. What do you mean they don't have "true finishers"? Detroit has Billups and Hamilton whom are some of the best clutch shooters in the game. The only person they lost is Big Ben which I think will be the deciding factor in a matchup between the bulls and pistons.

The Bulls not only have one of the best defenses in the league, but they have been finishing games recently and are 4-4 on the season against those western conf. teams you put up. (3 losses came from Utah) Chicago's bench is one of the deepest with Duhon, Nocioni, Tyrus Thomas, and NBA Finals veteran Adrian Griffin, Ben Gordon has shown to be a dynamic shooter and Big Ben is intimidating inside. The Bulls are 3-1 against Miami and 3-1 against Detroit this season and most likely have the no. 2 spot in the East (pending a win at NJ or 1-1 or worse record from cleveland their next 2 games). This no. 2 spot avoids all the big guns of the East (Detroit, Miami, and Cleveland) until the Eastern Conference championship.

Ahh neways I think i made my point.

I was highly dissappointed with how the Heat reacted to the first loss. I want the Bulls to win, but I thought it would be a show...turned out to be more of a blowout!

what are you talking about?? The bulls are better than Miami, but I think that u already found that out. it's a shame wade isn't playing his best, but I believe the bulls could beat them even in that scenario. The bulls are strong enough to beat the pistons, too. the team I don't think they could beat are just the suns or the mavs, those are ust too strong for them to beat 4 times.

Larry Hughes can be pretty solid, too. but you're right, the bulls and the Pistons are too much for the cavs to beat 4 times.

Well my Clippers didnt even make the playoffs, so im rooting for Toronto to take it all. I highly doubt it though as Nets lead it 2-1, but still if Toronto win it would be remarkable.

It will be six with pistons taking it. I'm a fan of both, but it's reality.

A Healthy Heat beat the bulls in 6 and by the way, if I remember correctly, the bulls lost to the semi-healthy heat this year by thirty.
