Hey everyone, not sure if this was already discussed but it seems like buffering the shield when trying to land on the ground (usually from being juggled) is non-existent since air dodging landing lag is much longer now.
So I was wondering if after air dodging, is it best to just hold the "shield" button down the whole time you're airborne? This will prevent another air dodge and right when you hit the ground your shield comes up.
If you want to re air dodge you would have to let go of "shield" and tap it again though but that doesn't seem to bad right?
Otherwise you need great timing to just land and immediately shield without accidentally air dodging right before hitting the ground.
The only other option I was able to think of was doing a b-move right before hitting the ground that has little landing lag and buffering your shield out of that. That idea came from using bowser a lot and using the klaw (sideB) as a shield buffer.
Thoughts?? Is this old news, impractical or a good idea?
