Ganon's dash attack has tons of start-up lag. It's a great, strong move but **** it comes out slow. It was troubling because I sometimes accidentally pulled out an f-smash when trying to bust out a quick dash attack. That led me to be tentative when using my dash attacks, as I waited to make SURE that I was dashing for a small moment before hitting A. The easy solution? C-stick.

I'm sure most of you guys have noticed that down on the c-stick while dashing = dash attack, but here's what's f'ing awesome: mash over on the control stick (whatever direction you want to DA in) and at almost the exact same time, with just a split-second delay, mash down on the c-stick. Boom. Dash attack in the desired direction on what looks like the very first frame possible. You'd have to TRY to mess it up and it's certainly faster than you're likely to pull off otherwise. Try it out, it may surprise you.

I shall indeed.

Edit: It seemed about the same to me. I mean, it was probably faster but it works the same for me. Sometimes a little delay is good to trick people. But maybe alternating b/w both ways could pull off to be useful.

Ha well technically it *can* be the same if you've got perfect timing with your dash+A. This takes timing out of the mix-- you can almost mash both stick down at literally the same time and you'll dash attack on THE first possible frame. Plus you won't have to worry about accidentally pulling out an fsmash. *Shrug* not gamebreaking lolz but useful IMO. Any character can do it, I just find it more useful for Ganon because his dash attack start up is SLOW.

Edit: Actually I was just toying around and I think it might actually be faster than is even possible with control stick + A. Why do I think this? Well first of all do a buffered dash attack-- mash forward on the control stick then a split-split-split second later down on the c-stick. Almost simultaneously but not quite (or you'll get a dsmash). Dash attack comes out pretty fast. Now try similar timing with control stick+A-- mash forward on the control stick and then press A about as fast as you pressed down on the c-stick. You will forward smash. See? This has me pretty convinced that you can't do a dash attack this fast any other way.
