Alright, so I'm typically kind of a hypochondriac, so keep that in mind, but this has been bothering me.
Just like two days ago I noticed a pretty nasty bruise on my bicep, it's about the size of a nickel and there is two tiny areas of the same color just outside of it. It's brownish- purple in color, and it looks maybe as if I got cleated in Rugby or something.
The thing is, I don't remember getting an injury to my bicep, and when I press on the bruise, it doesn't hurt, nor lose color like a normal bruise does. It could just be me, but I think it might have become darker or slightly larger yesterday, as all my friends noticed it too.
Do I need to see a doctor? Could this be some kind of skin disease?
I was thinking maybe I would just wait a week and see what happens and than go to the doctor.
Anyways, I've probably (hopefully), made a fool of myself, but I know there are a lot of intelligent people on these boards, and I figure maybe one of you have had a similar experience or are familiar with the situation.
I'd rather waste time trying to catch something early that doesn't need to be caught then end up w skin cancer for being too passive.
Edit: Would a picture help? It's not like disgusting or anything lol.
