(I apologize if this is the wrong place to start this thread)
So, recently, I've been trying to loop a song (which took me hours upon end to make the loop seamless), and I exported it as a BRSTM through Brawlbox 0.71. The audio sounded fine, but it was too quiet in-game, so I tried increasing the volume through Audacity before overwriting the old one (which, in the end, was a stupid mistake). I spent a couple of hours trying to increase the volume, exporting it as a BRSTM, and testing it out in Brawl. I did this until the music in the BRSTM file was so loud enough, but not scratchy or crackly. Then, I found out about Brawl Song Manager. So, after getting Brawl Song Manager, I re-added the original WAV file to Brawlbox and created the BRSTM, however, after playing it in Brawlbox, it sounded all crackly. I don't know why it did this, but soon I tried using the latest version of Brawlbox (v0.76b), and a little Report a Bug box opened. It happened a few more times after trying to create the BRSTM, but eventually it stopped and finally created the BRSTM, but, of course, it also turned out crackly. So, what I'm saying is that the original WAV file with the original volume sounded about the same as it did in Audacity (the same goes for the duplicates with increased volume), but now, even though the original WAV file has the original volume, it sounds crackly after playing the BRSTM in Brawlbox, yet the WAV file sounds fine in Audacity.
How do I fix this?
P.S. Happy Holidays!
