BRSTM Volume: How to increase without making a new file?

So basically I downloaded some brstm files online but the volume is really low/high for some of them. Because of the variances it's not practical to use Brawl's built in sound/music volume slider. Is there a program I can use to increase/decrease/normalize the song volumes of the existing brstms without going through the entire process of making a new brstm from scratch with an mp3/wav?

Audacity is one program that you can use. Just keep in mind that increasing the volume of a sound track may make it sound worse at spots.

I just downloaded Audacity and tried it. I'm guessing you can't open BRSTM files with because all I'm getting when I try to play it back is a weird screech sound.

Thanks for trying to help but let me clarify: I already have the BRSTM. I want to make it louder without converting it into a WAV or anything like that. Is that possible?

You can convert a BRSTM to WAV with BrawlBox and write down the loop points.
