brstm help...

Hello. not sure if im posting in the right section.

my problem is that i am using songs i found as brstm files. the stages i am changing the music for are:

yoshi's island
green hill zone
pokemon stadium
yoshi's story
battlefield
pokemon stadium 2
final destination
smashville
dreamland
fountain of dreams
skyloft
and 1 song for the menu.

in total 44 songs are being changed. on stages skyloft and dreamland, the music distorts itself after a couple of minutes. and some other stages have the same thing happen at random. i have tried deleting all the files, putting the originals back in and then putting different files in, but the same thing still happens.

You may need to defragment and/or reformat your SD card.

BRSTMs have a tendency to corrupt when you're transferring in bulk. Try freeing up space and defragment the card.

ok for i reformatted the flash drive, but i cant defrag it. how would i go about defraging the sd card

basically when i go to the control panel and click on drive for sd card, it says optimization not available.

i have tried all sorts of things and to no avail, im fresh out of ideas.

nvm just defragmented the sd card and everything is working. To DexstarGAMER, find a program online called Smart Defrag v3.2. It allows you to defragment the sd cards. It will fix the issue.
