.brstm files possibly causing crashes?

I've been using the latest Gecko OS and the file replacement code (3.5.1, I believe) and so far have not been having troubles (besides the stage selection screen freezing unless I set stage choice to random... )

But I recently used some .brstm files to replace songs on Green Hill Zone. I could listen to them in My Music and Sound Test. However, when I attempt to load the stage, my game freezes and makes the wonderful buzzing noise. I deleted the .brstm files so that all songs on Green Hill Zone would be the default built in songs, but the stage still freezes. It seemed to be working before, but I downloaded a bunch of .brstms and now it freezes. :glare:

I am wondering if a .brstm file could be behind this? I don't understand how it could damage the stage, temporarily or not. I have never downloaded any textures for Green Hill Zone... so besides the .brstms that were once on there, the stage is virtually untouched.

I have defragged and scanned my SD Card already. I have more .brstms on different stages but the only problem I am having in gameplay is the Green Hill Zone crashing (which is unfortunate because I love classic Sonic music). Also, if this matters, I do not use Brawl+ or anything like that. I only use Homebrew and Gecko OS.

i.e. Green Hill stage doesn't work, is it the music files? Please halp :c

If you could see me, I'm pointing to my signature. If that doesn't work, it may be the BRSTMs.

EDIT: Which is not showing, apparently. Defragging does nothing, you have to back everything up, format your SD card, put everything back on. If that does not work, we try from there. But maybe the BRSTM is corrupt, which I've never heard of.

Try using a My music reset gecko code. I had the same thing happen to me, and that worked. A quick google should find these codes for you.
