Hello SmashBoards friends,

I've been using the BRSTM Converter to convert WAVs to BRSTM and to loop music tracks.

But after not using the program in a while, when I loop and then output a song, the brstm file doesn't appear in the output box. It just seems not to generate any song at all. :(

I used BRSTM Converter 3.2 which is based on Java, and I was able to successfully convert a WAV file to BRSTM with that, but without my precise looping.

Can someone help me with this issue?

Thanks,

David

I tried BRSTM Converter 3.4.1 and it worked fine. Is the output folder completely empty? No hidden files or anything? Did you get the box saying "files made: output\____.brstm"?

I actually tried it on two computers. One was on my HP Pavilion Desktop machine running Windows 8 and also on my MacBook Pro running Windows 8. Didn't work on either.

I never got a box saying, "files made: output[...]" etc. I did get that on the Java version, however. Any idea what that might be?

I used the default "advanced" menu (that appears when you open the application). Click "OK", open the WAV file, set the loop points, and it works.

The "Simple WAV to BRSTM" or whatever it was called didn't work though.

Thank you a million times over! That worked for me, too. It's weird, though, because up until now the Simple WAV to BRSTM worked for me. Guess I'll just use the "advanced" version, now. Thank you again!
