New look for mobile devices
For those who browse smashboards from the confines of any number of next-gen smartphones, we've added a brand new skin that can only be accessed while on the go.
The new skin, called Smashboards Mobile, will load automatically when accessing the site from a mobile device. The skin is designed to load faster and navigate much more easily on touch-screen devices.
Less clutter, no ads! From here you can still quickly check your PM box, search the forums, and make changes to your profile.
We focused a lot on cleaning up the layout to make it simple and easy to browse, while still being able to use the forums as you normally would. Signatures, for example, do not appear on the mobile skin, and all large images will automatically be resized to fit smaller screens.
Moving from page to page in a thread should be easier.
When reading long threads, you now need only click "next" or "previous" to move forwards or backwards through the pages; since most smartphones are touchscreen, this should be a big improvement.
We hope the small-screen crowd finds the new layout much more enjoyable to use, and for anyone who hasn't already checked it out from their device, take a moment and try it.
