broken characters

im new to smash, but i love this game i play it all the time with my friends. i usually lose a lot so i want to learn the cheapest ways to win so i learned how to wobble but i cant grab my friends cause they use fox or sheik it sucks losing over and over.

any way i have some questions i guess like why dosnt any pro use link, is he scrubish or just cheap cause his up b move or would he just get wrecked,
im trying to learn so i never lose to my friends i want to piss them of i main with marth i used to play with link but im still a noob i hvnt beaten the event matches yea im on 49 rn and thats the last one i have before i try to get final destination, i dont understand how a childrens game could be so frustrating.

if you have any tips about who i should try to get good with let me know or methods of fighting i could try to infuse let me know,

Well, in the off chance it, by some anomaly, is I advise you play someone really simple. There's a "execution tier list" that was recently made, so look at that.
