I know this has probably been posted a million times, but I'm wondering how much of Brawl is actually going to be orchestrated and how much of it will be synth?
So far I've only heard two orchestrations from the entire game (the first and second trailer themes) compared to every stage's synth themes, which admittedly don't sound very good compared to the stage music in Melee.
I recall Sakurai stating that a majority of Brawl's music would have live orchestra and use the same vocal-chanting that was used in the game's first trailer, but it seems Sakurai did not stick with it. I personally thought it'd be an amazing change.
I'm hoping that the amount of effort going into the current music does not parallel with the amount of effort going into the game itself (as I'm sure it won't). I was really hyped over this game's sound track by it's initial impression
Retro Studios, however, seems to have fitted Prime 3 with full orchestration and full voice acting, with arguably less funding than Brawl. I'm wondering what's holding Brawl back here.
