There are other, lesser-known mods of Brawl besides Project M, such as Brawl Minus/Plus, Balanced Brawl, and my personal fave, BrawlEX. I suggest that additional subforums be opened for these particular mods, as I feel at least Brawl Plus/Minus and BrawlEX would see decent action.
Go to kc-mm.com and you'll see the BrawlEX mod with a roster that would make many MUGEN rosters jealous: Pikezer's v4.4.1. It's still a WIP, mind you, and you can't play any non-stadium/training solo modes on this mod (due to a lack of classic-mode/SSE icons).
By default, the mod contains 97 separate characters, with additional ones as alternate costumes (Milotic is an alt of Gyarados, for example).
If one were to count all the alt characters as well, the total roster would probably be around 400!
