Calling all Brawlers!
Play Grounds Gaming Inc. is proud to announce the preliminary tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Brawl are starting August 8th, 16th & 24th.
Enter and play to earn a cash prize (for preliminaries) and a pass that gets you into the finals held at FAN EXPO 2009 @ the Toronto International Convention Center.

- Select 'PG Events' from the main menu on the left and then 'Tournaments' for full details.
This is your chance to show off your talent in front of thousands!
It is $15 to enter with up to a maximum of 100 entrants per tournament.
Winners of the qualifying tournaments receive:
1st: $100, 100 Raffle tickets & Free pass to FAN EXPO 2009
1st: $50, 50 Raffle tickets & Free pass to FAN EXPO 2009
1st: $25, 25 Raffle tickets & Free pass to FAN EXPO 2009
A Raffle is being held after the tournament to win a TV, System of your choice + 3 Games.
Winner at the FAN EXPO finals will receive a prize with an estimated value of $5000
SUPER SMASH BROS: BRAWL - RULES
- Bring your own WIRED Gamecube controller or a WiiMote/nunchuk
- Matches are 1 vs. 1, best 2 out of 3
- Players will select their fighter prior to each match to insure that there is no fighter matching
- Stock limit of 3, 5 minute time limit per game
- There will be no pausing after each game starts
- Maps are Battlefield, Final Destination, Corneria, Lylat Cruise and Yoshi's Island (Brawl version)
- No glitching of any kind

UFC Undisputed
Madden 09
Street Fighter IV
Halo 3 (2 v 2)
- Each game listed gets its own tournament with its own grand prize
- All tournaments and prizes are structured the same.
