Brawl Teirs!

I want an idea of what the Brawl Teir will be like because I will be using one for Brawl. People who know enough about the characters from the demo should say their best bet on what the teirs will be like as of the characters we have now. You can also give us some ideas why a character is good or not good. I just want people's input of who is likely to be one of the upcoming high teir character.

For example I believe Ike will be Middle to Low teir player just because of his slowness, slightly slower then Roy.

Anyone who says Ike will be low tier'd is because they're incompetent at understanding game design.

It's laughable too, because it was clearly stated that heavy characters will be loaded with no-flinch attacks. So it doesn't matter if Ike is slow, he'll plow through any wimpy attack you throw at him and with his "massive knockback" he'll be top tier.

It's also laughable that none of you understand what it means that BRAWL IS A BALANCED GAME.

Have none of you noticed that every char is praised for being good and improved? Or maybe the people who have noticed this aren't dumb enough to post worthless crap like this.

The tier list isn't something that is just quickly made up, its a collection of tourney results mixed with player input. It'll take at least a few months before any list is made up.

I'll answer your question without being an ***. Like many others have said it is very hard to have a tier list considering how limited this game has been played. Also take into consideration the controllers that were used at E for all and that fact that no levels were banned and that items were on. Also most matches were free for all. However, I believe that it has been speculated that mario, MK, and pit are going to be pretty good. Mario can chain throw to an extent, MK has great combo skills lots of jumps etc., and Pit also has elite recovery and good move set. As others have said it is far too early to jump to conclusions though. Also keep in mind that the game may change dramatically between now and release date based on how nintendo takes all this feedback. At the moment though the best guess for some high/top tier characters would be mario, MK, and pit.

Thanks. Pit seems like a pretty awesome character anyways. I know it is way too soon to even think of a teir, but I just wanted people's input of who is likely to be one of the upcoming high teir character.

We really don't need this thread. Brawl will be more balanced than Melee, but it will never achieve perfect balance. Oh, and Ike still has the possibility of sucking, but I still don't think so.
