Brawl Plus with Custom Hacks Problem

I'm Loading Brawl Plus on my Wii to use my hacks without Damaging the Wii, and aparently, whenever i play a stage with custom battle portraits and fighters, it freezes. i don't even know what to do because of this, and also, when i edit the character select screen, none of the characters in the select are there. the portraits are there, but not the names and etc.

I'm Really stuck in this predicament and might require assistance. :/
