Textures-Brawl
Color-Melee
Design-Melee
Control-Brawl(modifiable buttons? yes!)
Playing-Melee
Overall-this is really opinion based. if you want a deep fighter, Melee. if you want ultimate fanservice, Brawl.

Brawl vs. Melee threads are generally not allowed due to them inevitably turning into a massive flame-war. Even though your intentions seem to be good, there will always be that one poster to turn it bad. Sorry.
