Brawl items not revealed on dojo

So, I noticed in the demo a gas can/box. Looks like an orange box with a flame on it.

Strangely enough, when someone threw it, it didn't explode. Any idea how this item works? I haven't seen it in explosive action.

Also, there looks ot be a really cool black hole like item that explodes in a radius and damages like nuts. Any news on what it is called?

im not sure but i saw one item that would shoot out spikes when you hit it.

It's probably still an explosive crate.

One demo video explained that it's not as easy as throwing it this time around. Some (or maybe all) require to get beat on a bit before they open. Kind've like Smash Balls.

I know it's from Star Fox.

I believe it was called the Smart Bomb.

I think I can answer this one. It's the bomb from Starfox 64, the one with the B on it. I forget the specific name, but I'm fairly sure I saw it in a gameplay movie.

I'm pretty sure the bomb in Starfox/Starfox 64 was called the nova bomb.
