Brawl Hacks with Retail Disc and USB

Semi-Misleading Title. This is a question!

I am having trouble applying codes to my disc via USB. I have a real disc and my SD cart slot is broken so I am unable to use that.

I ran Gecko but I couldn't find a way to run codes off the USB.
I ran Neogamma and it said that the codes were applied but nothing happened.

Specifically, I am trying to use MasterLinkX's old texture pack.

My USB is set up like this:
E:/codes/RSBE01
E:/private/tonsofotherfolders

I had the exact same folders all setup on my SD Card before it broke by the way. Please help!

Edit: Apparently some others are having the same issue where nothing is change but the extra CSS icons. They're problem was that they were using an SDHC instead of an SD. Does this mean I can not use my USB for textures?

I use a USB to load Brawl Hacks with a retail disc. You can use Riivolution. It's kind of like Gecko, but a bit more complicated to use. However, it does a bit more too. Riivolution replaces ALL files, unlike Gecko, and Riivolution is not bound by file size limits.

Thanks! I'll try this and report back!
