Hey guys... We European players should find more and more ways of playing against each other. That's why I'd like to help promote p.i.'s great Brawl Friend Finder replacement here in the european boards. The more we are to registrate in this very simple system, the easier it will be for us to connect with each other without having to start all these useless "give me your friend codes" threads. Please create yourselves some accounts for more european net action.

Quoting the original thread...

It's not as good as the original, but at least it hasn't been down for months. I'm calling it the Faux Finder (clever right?), and right now it's available here: http://fauxfinder.nfshost.com.

It should work in Firefox, Opera, Safari, IE7/8, Chrome, etc. It lets you challenge people and has live chat.

Get online and try it out. Report any problems in this thread.

How To:
- To create an account, enter your desired name and password and hit Create Account.
- To change your message, friend code, status, etc., change it and then hit Update.
- To challenge somebody, you have to be seeking. Then press the challenge button next to the other person's name.
- To message somebody, select their name in the menu at the bottom and type in your message, then hit Submit.

When you're Hidden, nobody can see, challenge or message you, and you can't challenge or message other people. When you're online, you can message people (and be messaged) but you can't challenge (or be challenged).

Before reporting a bug, make sure you have cookies enabled. And when you explain the problem, be sure to mention what browser you're using.
