Is it coming to stores/ nintendo magazine/ preorder/wii shop channel anytime soon? Im looking for actual evidence, i know there is a demo but i want to know if it will be availible to the public to own, or at least play at like gamestop or sumthing... Im looking for actual proof or something, i know its likely, im looking for specific dates? Any ideas anyone?

I'm excpecting a quick close, as this topic has been done to death.

Nintendo will most likely not release a demo for Brawl. A released demo would ease the waiting and anticipation for everyone, and that's exactly what Nintendo doesn't want. They want us to want this game very badly, because that guarantees a sale. If they release a demo, there's the point that alot of customers will pick it up with a friend and say "This is really good!" but there's also alot of people (Melee fanatics) who would be very disappointed and thus decide to most likely not pick it up.

very true, i know im one of the people who are dieing to play brawl, but i would buy it either way, but i guess having the demo at e for all was there way of satisfying us with out killing the hype.

I think what ALB247 is a very good way to look at it.

But anyhow, countless people have asked Nintendo already. Their reply is always the same: A demo is released so that they can hopefully get people interested in the game and familiarize them with the controls and the way the game plays. Brawl is probably the most hyped game of the year next to Halo 3 so from Nintendo's standards, a demo is not needed because people are already pretty familiar with the game due to the Dojo. People have an idea of how the game plays because of Melee (and E for All) and the people that went to E for All or read the Dojo already know the basic controls. That exhausts all of their reasons for releasing a demo. The only other reason they would release one is to make us happy and possibly hold us over until February, since it was delayed and all.

It's possible but not very likely. Nothing has been confirmed.

Halo 3 beta was released before Halo 3 so I wonder if Nintendo would do the same by releasing a demo before the actual game? Aww well, I can care less if a demo is going to be released and just wait for the real game...

I think that releasing a demo would be a bad idea on their part. I don't think they posponed the release date because their still working on it, I think they did it because it was smart. They increased anticipation without really having to do anything. Although they did have a demo in L.A. or something and let like ten people play it, but releasing a demo to the public wouldn't be smart.

I doubt there will be a demo passed what was at E4All. A demo takes a ton of production time up, and it would probably cause the game to get delayed again. The only "demos" we'll probably ever see is the actual game in a kiosk at a game store a small time before the actual release(like Galaxy).
