I doubt it. Samus has not spoken in any of the Metroid Prime games (Corruption included), and has only had text-based dialogue in Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission. She only makes noises when she is damaged/killed, sort of like Link I guess.

I think it is to avoid awkward moments. We know Metaknight, Pit and Snake speak in the game. However it would feel weird if they say whole sentences and all Link and Mario did was nod their heads all the time.

The only characters that I think could have (spoken) dialogs in the SSE would be Snake, since we've already seen has dialogs in the game, and probably Fox (and Falco, if he makes it in) since there's always a lot of talking in all his games.

However, about the "famous phrases" I think most players wouldn't have a problem saying them throughout the cut-scenes (like Mario saying "Here we goo!").

Edit: However, it seems very unlikely to have dialogs since Fox didn't even say a word in the last cut-scene. I'm sure lots of people would expect the classic "Come on!". Still looks possible for Snake, though.

Fox and Falco should talk like they did in Star Fox on the SNES. That would make this the best game in history.

Mario says: let's-a go!

And why fox would talk to a chimp

That would be epic. Well...(still hoping for Lloyd Irving), if Lloyd were in the game, he'd talk. He talks a lot actually, and he even shouts out attack names when he does them. However, the characters talking in cut scenes..that might not happen. I hope it does though. Still laughing at the Fox and Falco thing...

Fox, Falco, Krystal, and Slippy are obviously gonna have dialogue, because of their scenes from their Arwing; but I see the other fighters having voices, but only using it for grunts and battle cries.

I have a feeling this game is going to have a lot more dialogue. It has to with all the added features and cut scenes. I also hope the songs have more lyrics, even if it means bringing back a new DK rap.
