Brawl Avatars?

Ok, I swear there was an avatar contest a while back. I submitted a few designs myself and saw a few I would have liked to use, and I was curious on what happened to this. I never saw anything after the initial thread which itself totally dissapeared when the contest ended. I have no idea where to post this, so I'm really sorry that this may be grossly out of place, but I was hoping someone could shed some light on this?

As far as I know, it's still in discussion, but I also know that Mic_128 is really trying to push it forward. You're best to ask him about the situation.
