Considering Petey being a boss, i would think many other enemies from franchises would be a boss.
Here i posted what characters i think will be bosses.

Mario series:
Petey Parana

Kirby boss:
King Dedede

DK boss:
King K rool

Zelda boss:
Zant (maybe)

Pit:
Medusa

Starfox:
Star wolf ( if not a charcter)

Pokemon:
Im realy not sure about this one. Maybe arcerus or somthing.

Earthbound:
Pokey

Fire emblem:
The black Knight

Ice climbers:
terradactyl

Yoshi:
Baby bowser (if not a character)

Samus boss:
Ridely

What do you guys think?

(Ridley Fight)"

Since the update came out for Petey and confirmed bosses, people noticed that ridley is hands down a boss because it states it blatantly in the boss fight music update.

The debate that ridley wanters have now in days about his chances is "HE COULD BE A CHAR AND A BOSS!!!" but besides them too my knowledge people just gave up on the idea.

I think that music is debatable. The title implies different things depending upon how you read it. It could be the music that plays when you fight Ridley as a boss in Story mode, or it could just be the music that plays during Ridley boss battles in Metroid, which they felt would suit a Metroid stage. I still think there's hope for Ridley.

Though, if he's just a boss, no skin off my nose.

In my opinion he is most definitely a boss. Here's my logic: On sakurai's poll a vast majority of the chars suggested have already been put into the game(and that was his goal, to put chars in the game, not necessarly playable), but as Assist Trophies, Bosses, or Pokeballs. I think Dedede's in the game for sure from looking at the poll, but I don't think he'll be a playable.

Here's what I think the bosses would be:

Mario series:
Petey Parana

Kirby boss:
King Dedede

DK boss:
King K rool

Zelda boss:
Zant

Pit:
Medusa

Starfox:
Leon(the chamelean)

Pokemon:
Team Rocket Member(with is own set of boss'like pokemon)

Earthbound:
Britney Spears

Fire emblem:
I'm hoping for just a huge dragon(because the last boss in alot of FE's are dragons, and because I think Black Knight has a chance to be playable)

Ice climbers:
Terradactyl

Yoshi:
Kamek

Samus boss:
Ridely


I'm basically stating what I would think is logical to me, and I'm also thinking that Britney Spears looks scary as hell when she's bald.

What in the hell.... You better put "playable boss" next King Dedede. The most popular and requested character on the poll; not to mention a main recurring boss in the Kirby series. Personal creation of Sakurai... King Dedede will be playable in Brawl; not as a boss only.

Then why would they post the music from another game for no reason?

makes no sense to me.

Ridley is a classic Metroid boss in the Metroid series. The soundtrack is a remix of Ridley's classic boss music. That's all it means. Just because it's boss music does not imply that he will not be a playable character! Stop jumping to conclusions and ridiculous assumptions.

In metroid games that same song that he has when you fight him, some other bosses have the same song. It's Metriod's best Boss theme, but it's not just exclusive to Ridley. If this is the case why would in parenthesis they put "(Ridley Fight)"? Because he's a boss.

And I don't think that if he's a boss they'll make him small, or even medium for that matter, I'm thinking he'll be pretty big. And because he'd be a big boss, it'd be too big to be playable. Oh, and about the "it could be meta-ridley" I'm sure it would of said "(Meta Ridley Fight)" in parenthesis instead. That'd be like having Fierce Link as a boss and the captions just saying (Link Fight).

My opinions though, not going to push it on people, I consider anything, but I'm leaning much more on this.

Duh! He will be a boss and a playable character! No way would Sakurai rob us of our chance to play as Ridley. Forget about it!

@Psycho, that's what I just told him, but I guess he didn't read all of my post.

OMG OMG OMG you know Yoshi Story's ending is the ending from every single stage RIGHT? I mean it says ending on it.......

Please; that's merely pointing out the origin's of the song. It doesn't mean that Ridley will not be playable.

For the last time bro and I'll try to make this as crystal clear as possible, this "boss music" of Ridley does not dismiss him from being a playable character because this "boss music" is just a revamp of previous used classic Ridley Boss Music soundtracks. Get it now?

And by the way, an assumption is when something isn't a drawn on facts and information. But if you're assumption is that something is comfirmed, it's a logic, not an assumption.

Example:
Assumption: I think over this hill is the next town.

Logic: Because of the sign that said "Men Only" and having the knowledge that that means this is probably a bathroom or shower, I think this is indeed a bathroom.

It IS an assumption...

I highly doubt Yoshi's music will play only during the ending but that follows your same logic...

Anyway you can draw ANY conclusion from Logic

In this case FACT is needed

Still doesn't help your argument. Because the music says Ridley and Boss Battle, and having no knowledge of who Sakurai is going to implement and what signs he would use to hint at their inclusion as a boss, we find that we will have to see what Sakurai tells us on the Dojo.
