Bone Hex not saving

To avoid the only visible during smash ball glitch I needed to hex a bone, which I did, and then replaced with BB. BB displays that it has a new index number, and I hit save, but it never actually saves, as everytime I re-open the file the bone has reverted back to it's original index. What I do bout this :urg: ?

couple of questions for you then:

1 are you sure you're changing the right one? and which bone are you trying to change?
2 how are you trying to change the index? are you hexing it properly?
3 does your new model have added bones? and if so, did you change the index before or after you added the bones?

if your hexing it right, then the problem would come from adding in bones before you hex the index.

Yep, I'm sure I'm trying to change the correct one, it's BodyM.
To change the index, I'm exporting the individual bone, changing the "00 00 00 01" to "00 00 00 03", then replacing back into the main file. All that said, it does have added bones, so I'll try re-doing it with the bone hexxed beforehand. Thanks for the advice! :bee:

send me the file and i'll see if i can get it to work. so you're only moving the BodyM bone then?
