This monday, Bomberman Blast came out on wiiware for 1000 points. I personally was never a huge fan of bomberman but this game has me interested. Anyone have it yet and have any feedback on the game's overall play so far? Online?

YES, YES AND YES!
I'm a big Bomberman fan, but relatively new.
I've only played the DS titles, but I really love this series.
I got my first Wii Points and made no haste to waste them on these. And I can tell you, it wasn't a waste.
While it may not be the full version of Blast, I say the storyline crap is useless. The multiplayer part is the best part of every Bomberman game. I love battling in Wi-Fi. They have a ranking system and actually match you up against people that may be as good as you, unlike Brawl.
You can battle with up to 8 people on Wi-Fi, and you can also battle with friends, and friends in Wi-Fi. The only problem I've seen, is that no one really bought this game, so there are only a couple people you may know that actually have it. I have none. =\
It's tough to remember when to use the motion controls, but I guess you have to get used to it.
Bomberman Blast is a superb game for only 10 bucks.

People that like the Bomberman games should know right off the bat to get this game.

Bomberman is best played with friends, and since Bomberman Blast do have friend code, you can hook up to a lot of people and play them; you can also play with strangers.

The ranking to me is just extra as since I don't really care.

The game is competitive, though there is luck to the game to win, it does not affect you much since the chances of you getting all the degrades are slim, the bombs coming at you are easy to dodge, and there are also new special items to keep people's bombs away from you.

Online is between Brawl's a MKWii's. There are only few who lag like crazy; I strongly suggest playing continentially. The sad news is that the rules are sotra fixed in the game if you go online, but that does not really matter. If it lasted longer than 5 mins every match, everyone would get sick of staying in front of their TV (the casuals).

10 bucks for this bomberman game isa great deal; I just want bomberman karting again. -.-
