Blaziken VS Infernape

i've mostly made up my mind, but i would appreciate some comments on this small dilemma......between blaziken and infernape, which would make a better physical sweeper?

i've been strongly considering blaziken, since i find it's attack is higher than infernape's, and along with it's special move, blaze kick, which has a high critical-hit ratio, this would make quite a good combination

i've also gotten quite fed up with recoil moves, such as flare blitz.......sure it's strong, but i find that the recoil damage could sometimes spell doom for a battle

my old infernape, which i hardly use anymore had swords dance, u-turn, earthquake, and flare blitz.........yes, it was strong, but on many occasions, flare blitz's recoil would knock his health down to almost 1/2......and with only leftovers, he would basically be screwed for the rest of the 6-on-6 battle

if i were to use blaziken on the other hand.......he would be armed with blaze kick, sky uppercut, aerial ace, and earthquake.....and i would attach an expert belt to him, for logical reasons........also, i don't believe there would be any need for a stat-modifying move, since my team contains baton passers

PLEASE COMMENT AND GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK

Stamping your library books.
Seeing as how Infernape outspeeds Blaziken, go with the monkey. Even with the higher offensive stats, it won't help him much if he can't outspeed them.

that's true......but wouldn't a simple baton pass from ninjask handle that little issue?

i've finally bred an adamant torchic, but i'm debating on EV training him

thank you for the advice tho......i might actually follow it, lol!

If I'm not mistaken, Chimchar can learn Blaze Kick from breeding. Infernape already has higher Speed and can boost his Attack with Swords Dance, so I think he's a better choice.

104 attacks, 108 speed for infernape
120 attacks, 60 speed for blaziken

infernape is better, even without blaze kick

infernape can have flare blitz, close combat, shadow claw, and thunderpunch as a moveset, it covers all of his weakenesses except ground, which a grass knot can be used to replace shadowclaw

well, thank you for all your help.......but i decided to EV train both a new adamant infernape and an adamant blaziken, and battle with each of them...........and see where my luck lies

i appreciate the advice!

don't be gay and use stuff because it wins, use who you like. On paper, infernape is better than blaziken, but blaziken has better uses than infernape is some areas, such as a salac reversaler.

I totally agree with UmbreonMow. You should use whoever you like better. I personally like blaziken more but infernape does own him in speed.

Blaziken has 80 base Speed, not 60. (Edit: Darn. pikachunoob beat me)

Blaziken's 110 Special Attack can also be used with Flamethrower, Focus Blast, and Hidden Power, although this is a limited Special movepool.

Blaziken can have Flare Blitz, Shadow Claw, and Thunderpunch as well. (Kinda weird it doesn't know Close Combat, but Sky Uppercut could be used)

With Agility, Blaziken's Speed can surpass Infernape's, although it is risky.

As UmbreonMow and Ultra Nova said, Blaziken can work as a Salac Reversaler.
