Black Boarders Problem

is there a way to fix this? We are using a HDPVR 2.

Are you using OBS? If so, set the video input to 720×480. Then, use “edit scene” to move the video input around until it sits right where it belongs, filling the entire overlay window.
You can also crop the black borders out by holding down the Alt key and resizing the source by moving its edges with the mouse cursor.

Also, it seems your video is not deinterlaced properly. You need to set the video source to either Yadif2x (for 60 fps) or Yadif (for 30 fps). Or, even better, seriously improve your hardware setup (capture card, monitor, console cables), but I assume you don’t want to invest ~140$+ for that.

the actual video feed has the black lines. unless configuring it the way u say crops these black areas out. I dont know how to fix it. also bear in mind that some of it is just my friend Dan not Expanding the footage as far as he should have. it's more like this. But we will try that. Thanks.

Also, I think you are not aware that the name “LS Studios” has associations you probably don’t want to have with your stream. I mean, I’m laughing about it, but other people will take this more serious probably. So maybe you’ll want to go for a different name and logo?

LS means Living Studios. I'm not the owner but Him and I are both looking to redesign. I'm thinking of a few designs atm.

one thing i'd like to know. is that stretching the footage at all or just changing the res. i'm not sure i want to stretch the video.

what would i use to convert the footage to higher quality. Wii2Hdmi or an HDMI converter?
