BIOHAZARD ALERT! (the Pokerus virus is catching!)

The pokerus virus is infectious!
I recently caught a Carvahna that was infected with this rare syndrome. And I just happened to be training a Relecanth and a Duskull.
I thought "I wonder if it's fun to train a Sharpedo?"
I browzed through my box and found a pokerus infected carvahna!
I took it out and kept it in my team for a bit.
A bit later I checked the stats of my relicanth and SHOCK! IT WAS INFECTED WITH THE POKERUS!! SO WAS DUSKULL!!!

I just think this may be cool. I will have to experiment.

A little shiny thing is in the Stats screen when you are infected.

...no, a little purple tag appears in the bottom of the screen saying PKRS. I found out how it infects, too!
I have successfuly infected my corphish, my swalot, my surskit, my solrock and my castform.
It's simple.

1. place the infected pokemon in last place in your team.
2. place the pokemon you want infected in second-last place.

Now go into a battle with a wild pokemon and win, after about three or four battles it will be infected. I maxed out Corphish's E.Ps at level 24 using this!

no, actually if there in your pc they'll spread it to dudes in the box, and if there in your party theyll spread it to any member, none of that 'put in # slot & # slot gets infected'

It's good don't worry it doubles your Effort values when u gain them for a day I think.

its time is random... it will leave different pogeys at differen intervals, not exactly a day, :\

oh! I think it infects pokemon that are nearest to the infected. Using that slot thing is how I infected mine...
but there are some pokemon I can't infect. I've noticed that low-level egg-born pokeys get infected easily.
this is very cool, and could help with training a lot!
But how does the Pokerus virus suddenly heal?

Catching Pokerus is absolutely random but if you get it you are ****ing lucky, although I believe in G/S/C catching a Yanma would have a increased chance of obtaining Pokerus...

And the Pokerus also randomly heals over time so its best to infect everyone while you can because you can only ever catch Pokerus ONCE in a game and you'll be immune to it afterwards.

My shiny oddish, on the top left of the screen, its pokemon number, is not written in white, instead, it is written in gold, is that a mark of pokerus or shiny?

that's probably shiny. I want a shiny Pokemon!!
A little purple tag will appear like your Pokemon is Poisoned, except it will say PKRS instead of PSN

Yeah, but doesn't your stats get halved or something? Or in the long run the stats aren't as high as there supposed to? I dunno... it's been a long time since I played pokemon.

no, there arent any negative effects, persay, unless you handle your eps wrong, its doubled consequence (i.e. you defeat a pokemon that gives 1ep to s.a. & you dont want any s.a. eps) same as w/out the virus but its doubled, :\

Some pokemon have little black dots near the Pokeball in thier stats. Does this mean that they are immune to the virus or have already got it?
