Thought Smashboards would like to see this thread. A lot of videos being edited, compiled, organized, and immortalized onto youtube.
Hopefully you guys enjoy this, it's stressful to do all of this but I do it for the smash community.

Can anyone confirm from the footage of we have seen whether the following things are true? Can you cancel out of hitstun with an attack or air-dodge like in brawl? how is the dash dancing, is the dash dancing closer to brawl or melee? how is the landing lag on aerials? How is the lag after a throw? When you are running and you jump how much of the momentum is transferred over from the dash to the jump? Is the momentum closer to brawl or melee?

you cant cancel hitstun, exepct for megaman can with his up b on weak hitstun, dash dancing is like brawls, landing lag is balanced around how strong the move is, jump momentum is like brawl, ground movement is closer to melee in terms of speed

edit: i forgot lag on throws, there is no real lag on the animation ending but they got rid of chain grabs by making people immune to regrabs for 60 frames

Varied. Some attacks are very fast, some are slow.

How is the lag after a throw?

I don't know this one.

I think it's closer to Brawl, but I'm not sure.

Some of Ganondorf's attacks seem pretty fast now... Look at his down aerial for example.

Also... Wario animates SO FREAKING SMOOTHLY in this game and some of his moves got some changes as well.

Any custom moveset videos?

There's a video of captain falcon using a custom falcon punch which sends him forward, and a lightning falcon kick. Really cool stuff.
