Best way to get screenshot of Trainer?

Hi. I've been wanting to take a close up picture of the Pokemon Trainer himself. The only way I've gotten close to doing this is going to Hyrule and have another character up on his platform. Has anyone else found a better way of taking a close up shot of the trainer, like the one on the Dojo in his profile? Thanks in advance!

Can't you just get a close up of one character then move the camera with the D-pad?
