So I've heard different answers but I want to know, what's the most efficient way of breaking a grab?
I've heard to use DSDI where you hold the analog in one direction and mash the C-stick,
Go back and forth as fast as you can on the analog,
Or mash like crazy

What's the absolute best way? If it is mashing, what's the "best" way to mash?

1. Rotate the control stick rapidly
2. Starting from the cstick, slide your right thumb diagonally up-right so that it hits all face buttons, then diagonally down-back to the cstick. Repeat.
3. Use your index/middle fingers to mash shoulder L/R/Z

Perform these 3 input spamming techniques at the same time for best results.

DSDI won't break you out of grabs, because DI has nothing to do with mash escaping, it only changes the KB trajectory like any other move. Also SDI doesn't have an effect on throw knockback anyways, only regular DI does.

I'm curious about this as well. Is it confirmed that every control on the controller (perhaps aside from d-pad, but who knows, maybe?) helps to get out of a grab?

Anyone know at what percents I should add a pummel in? I have a really bad habit of pummeling way to early, and people always break out of my grabs
