Sony Vegas.
I've been using editing software for years now. Only after using Vegas did I really appreciate all the wonderful gadgets and features that it provides. The chroma keying even works better than software specifically devoted to green screen effects. But it's costly, I'll tell you that.
Adobe Premiere and Affect Effects were what I used before. But trust me, Vegas is the way to go. It'll save you the hassle of using two programs instead of one and the interface is sweet.

Agreed...Vegas is really good if you don't care about the price, but I use powerdirector which is a lot cheaper and gets the job done 2.

I've never used vegas. But adobe premiere pro is pretty good
