Best stage for Ganny?

I think a pitless stage would be actually best for our dark lord of evil since his recovery looks pretty bad to me.

What do you think would be a good stage for our man of great evil?

Battlefield is one of Ganondorf's better stages, since a lot of Ganondorf's best options are above him, and the platforms help him avoid most projectile spam.

Smashville is also good.

Ganondorf however also does really good on Norfair and Brinstar thanks to the Murder Choke suicide kill which doesn't kill Ganondorf on this stage if he times it as the lava comes up. Personally I think Norfair is better for Ganondorf due to being flat and due to Ganondorf actually being pretty good at the ledge, but that stage is sometimes banned.

 

[Shadow Nataku]

Any stage with water is a must for Ganny too. So basically Delfino Plaza and the Great Sea/Pirate Ship too. It gives him a fantastic excuse to spam his deadly aerial attacks and be abit more lax on the recoveries.

I don't really know why, but Luigi's Mansion does great for me. With the mansion in tact, I just stay at the bottom and just do intense dodge play along with side B pressure to build up damage, and then eventually one of my strong blows sends them flying.

Yoshi's Island might be all right. The platform that sometimes springs up can save your *** now and then.

Probably the best are Battlefield and Pirate Ship. Pirate Ship is better than Delfino Plaza in my opinion because you don't have to worry about infinites by Dededumbs.

Either Pirate Ship because he doesn't need to have a good recovery to survive there or Norfair because of the Murder Choke kills.
