Best Sonic Characters

I am new and curious if this is a repeated forum, but I will try. So what are your thoughts? PLease comment. Im rooting for Silver or Shadow, because between Chaos Control and telekinesis, they would make fine additions.

Sonic should be the sole playable character of his series in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Give the other 3rd party slots to other characters from other series!

As he said.

If Sonic were to get another character, Tails or Knuckles would be the best choices. His partner who has been around since his second game or his rival-ally since the third. But there won't be another Sonic character playable, so its a moot point.

I agree! You can have assist trophys and stages, but I think that Sonic Team should only have one playable character so that other 3rd party chars can come in too! Like... Capcom! Come on Zero!!

Yes they are in the anime and they made it pretty good. Made the anime a little more graphic according to the fans, but they'd fit in good with the Subspace.

Sakurai specifically said that all of the characters have to have originated in a video game.

Why do you think it would be, especially now that they already made them in the anime?

They were just created for the anime and nothing more

I honestly couldn't justify having any other character from Sonic in the game other than Sonic himself. Tails would just be another flying character, Knuckles...no, and Shadow would just be a Sonic clone. Hopefully you will be able to change Sonic's color into Shadow, though, like Peach and Daisy.

Its not that they don't belong, but that theres a very limited number of 3rd-party slots, and it'd be foolish of Nintendo to give more than 1 to any given company. Sakurai said in his journal we'd see maybe 1-2 more after Snake, and since we have Sonic, that means we have at most one more 3rd-party character coming. Sega has Sonic in, why would Nintendo put in another character from the same company and series rather picking up another gaming icon from another company? Characters like Mega Man and Bomber Man are in high demand, to name the two most often suggested, and theres no shortage of others (look around these boards, you'll find plenty). Even if there were more 3rd-party slots, more Sonic characters would be about as low priority as they come.

Gotta mention, I agree completely. Its a shame hes been relegated to side roles so much of late.

Zevox u have a point... but it would be cool to see a power-up especially for sonic that lets him substitute for one of the other sonic characters...like pokemon switch

I think this is why they have Sonic and Mario at the Olympic Games, to mix up those two worlds with all the characters. Outside of an assist trophy, nobody should represent the series but Sonic himself. And I'm **** glad he's in it.

This is more of a "What If" question than you think will actually happen...

Anyway IGN believes there will be...but they are not all that reliable...
