I don't know many sites all I know is
Good
Melee it on me-articles with lots of information provided by top players
Ok
Smash boards-let's be fair sure it can be a good source but anyone can say anything like on this site I saw someone say you have to be on top of the person to do the rest so smashboards is not in good
Youtube-same as smash boards but more recommended because its easy to detect a bad source
Twitch-some top players do stuff like Q/As and analysis live but you can't rely on them to be live all the time
Bad
Game facts-lots of casuals there I guess I can be a good source if you do the reverse of what this site tells you
Ign-same as game facts

Youtube is an incredible resource when looking to improve. The guys at SSBM Tutorials have a ton of 5ish minute long videos describing specific techniques, Smash Academy (despite their infrequent posts) have some really in depth videos for players just dipping their toes in the water, Kevin Toy (aka PewPewU)'s youtube channel has quite a few really well made videos describing breadb-and-butter higher level techniques (many of which are geared towards Marth players, but most still apply to other characters as well).

I don't know exactly where you're at skill level wise, so I apologize if you're already pretty familiar with these sources, but I know they were all incredibly helpful for me when I started.

To be fair, you do have to be inside of them for rest since the hitbox is so small, so since TVs are on a 2-dimentional plane, they could have meant on top of as containing the same space...

Anyways, watching and analyzing professional-level play of your character (usually on YouTube) is REALLY important, as it helps you see what you should be doing and when you should be doing it.
