Best Place to put CRT in house (closed)

So I convinced my parents that I could get a CRT to play Melee with from Goodwill or some other thrift stores once we find a good offer, but there is one big problem. My dad said that he would only let me get a CRT if I could find a place to keep it out of my parent's view, because it's an eyesore to him apparently to have something that old around the house when it's not in the attic (we threw away our old one, I tried.)

I know this is going to be really weird, because I am posting about my house, but here is a general plan of the house

Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms, 1 for me and 1 for a guest, each with closets (my parent's room is an obvious no)

The Game room where I have my Wii and other assorted consoles is upstairs and there is a small sunroom there where people sit that is beside the gameroom, but I don't think I could put it anywhere behind the chairs there.

Down the hall is another guest room which used to be my brother's and it has a small closet. This is the best place I have thought of so far without having to put it in the attic, as I will have to carry it a relatively short distance to the game room from that room.

If you need any more information you can ask. Please help me get a CRT in my house. It's not a big expense but it's just the location that matters, as I am probably only going to take it out on weekends during the school year.

Thanks!

The obvious answer is your room. Why not put the Wii there when you want to play Melee? Or buy an additional Gamecube for 15$.

Another option would be to buy one of those low-latency LCD TVs or monitors, or maybe you already have one of them. With either VGA cables, a component-VGA adapter or a component-HDMI converter and the Wii set to 480p, the latency is low enough to not affect the majority of smashers.

I have a gamecube. I don't want to put the CRT in my room because my parents would not want that distraction near me. I really appreciate the answer, and I don't know if I can go back and convince my parents to get VGA cables for me now.
