Best partner for pit team attack on?

Im a solid singles player and a buddy of mine wants to try doubles. Before we start I want to say a few things so you understand the situation.

1. I have never really played doubles before in smash
2. I am with out a doubt the better player he is casual at best
3. he loves to spam arrows and angel wing ( then again who doesn't )
4. We will be using skype so communication will hopefully get us some wins with my skills as well.
