I do some pokes here and there when the back air doesn't work, but since this game pretty much buffed everyone recoveries edge guarding isn't exactly the same. For the most part, the person who gets launched off the stage is usually going to come back if they go from below the edge and recover. Fox doesn't really have any meteor smashes so that option is gone.

Appreciate the help guys.

Fall off ledge and up air. It looks awesome, but kills way late. The fair landing spike works somewhat. Or just bait or read ledge recovery into up-smash.

Nair works well. As he's recovering towards the edge, fall off and jump nair back onto the stage. The nair covers anything on the ledge or around it and hits them back some and you''re back on the stage in case it doesn't hit. Don't do it a lot though or you'll get read

NAir is my bread and butter. Knows slightly upwards iirc, but the hitbox is so long and large that it works fine. Bair is great too ofc but timing and spacing is more important. Fair is good too - the final hit sends them upward, but hey - its damage and still puts them in a recovery situation that you can still guard against.
