Best DI method to avoid F-air

After I get the full knockback from Peach's D-air which sends me flying upwards and slightly sideways to the side with her facing me, I almost always get creamed by the F-air follow-up. Is there a DI method I can use to lower my chances of getting F-air'd by peach after the D-air or is it a true combo at the percents that it works on for all characters?

Its a true combo on lower percents, but after a while you can DI away to avoid the Fair follow up.

If you want to avoid Fair, simply DI away. Just be careful not to DI into the blastzone in case you do get hit by Fair.
