Best buy

I live in Canada and ordered Brawl at Bestbuy.
However, lately I recieved a mail telling me my command was delayed to september 30 2008. I looked on the site and it is saying the game is coming out in september.

Well... That is strange. I can't say much more then that, but the Dojo clearly states that it is still February 10, 2008, so I wouldn't put any worry into it. Unless The Dojo changes it to a ??? again...

I wouldn't listen to an internet site. I once ordered a game from Amazon, about a week before it's official release, Amazon said that it was being released like, 4 months later.

Although the contradictory Canadian and American sites could mean it's delayed in Canada (which makes no sense to me, cuz I thought that Canada and US normally get the same release dates)

Oh, please. We've gotten dosens of thes types of things. First it was Amazon, then GameStop, then Wallmart, and now Best Buy? All of them said different release dates, so I wouldn't trust 'em at all.

I live in Canada, and my EB Games says March 1st! If it's delayed for Canada until Septemeber 30th I am personally going to go the President of Nintendo of Canada and kick him in the balls VERY hard! WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT RELEASING A VIDEO GAME? If it's delayed again I am going to need therapy because I will kill myself. In all honesty though, it appears the game might arrive a little later here in Canada so I am going to import the game (the English version of course).

They won't do another delay. They wouldn't have a reason to, since Sakurai added over two more months of development time, and besides, the game's coming out in a little over a month anyway. It'd be utterly ridiculous.

I work at Best Buy, and I can tell you it's most likely an error. Whenever we get information regarding release dates and/or possible changes to those dates, we usually get them very late. Ive actually had to tell people in the media department to take down pre-order signs that said a game was coming out on Date X, because no one informed them the game had been delayed for several months. In other words, if there's a delay Best Buy won't be the first place to say so.

I think we'll be getting it the same time as the US, due to the fact that all stores in both countries are saying either February 10th, March 1st, March 4th, March 9th, March 15th, March 21st and March 30th.

I SWEAR to boycott Nintendo if they do this. They build hype off the Dojo, make people obsessed with the game, and then delay it...AGAIN! Any who, I think this is bull! But, if the U.S gets it first (which makes no sense becaue all you have to do is drive a truck a few kilometers past Buffalo to get where I am).

Ebgames.ca has no date, Ebgames.com says 2/10/08, futureshop.ca says March 31 2008, hmv.ca says 10/02/2008, bestbuy.ca says March 31 2008, and amazon.ca says February 10, 2008.

People, come on, theyve got 17 days... thats roughly 2 1/2 weeks, the CDs have to be being printed already, and theyve already put out 5 commercials, and one of them was really strange... The one with eggs... i didnt understand...

I don't think there is much reason to believe it would be delayed, however some terrible canada/u.s. miscommunication could lead to all the canucks waiting an extra month or a half to play brawl.

Your Best Buy website in Canada now says March 31 in case you didn't know. There is no way they would delay a game for 7 months after delaying it for only 3. They would have just delayed it for 10 then...
